The versatile Turin can be converted into 4 different modes:

Bassinet level: your precious new baby can go straight into your cot with the adjustable base at the bassinet level
Cot level: before your baby can sit up, lower the adjustable base from bassinet level to toddler level
Day bed/sofa: your cot can also convert to a day bed/sofa. A great place to lounge in the sun or read your favourite book
Cot bed: simply remove both sides with the base still at the toddler level to create the cutest little cot bed for your growing child
